Why Radios Beat Cell Phones at Events

Store-bought walkie-talkies share crowded public FRS/GMRS channels. Ours run on licensed private frequencies, so your conversations stay clear and private.

Instant group talk

Push one button and everyone hears you. No dialing.

No dead zones

Works when crowds overload cell towers or you’re out of range.

Private channels

Licensed frequencies only your team uses.

All-day batteries

Built for long shifts, with spares available.

Radio Rental FAQ

Do I need an FCC license to use your radios?

No. The radios run under Idaho Radio Rental’s FCC license. Because of that, rentals are for use in Idaho only.

What’s the minimum rental?

Three days. Daily rates start the day after delivery and end the day the radios come back.

How far will the radios reach?

About 4+ miles in open terrain; less through buildings and hills. Larger areas may need a repeater — ask us.

How far ahead should I book?

As early as you can, especially for spring and summer weekends. Cancellations within 5 business days are charged 20%.
